Thanks, cooler portion looks much bigger. Got my aurora today, the cooler part is much smaller than I expected. Overall nice bag though.

Travelpro flightcrew4 crew cooler. Its enough for a lot of food, tupperware. A lot of bags are too narrow to put in a bowl or tupperware. Its as deep and wider than Aerocoast. Top section works good for dry food and snacks. Other pockets I use for flashlight, chargers, utensils, etc. Company iPad fits too if you leave room, though I use my rollerboard. It can slide ontop of any rollerboard handle. You can get them for <$50 bucks.

Also, if you plan on taking a bit of food, I suggest you get on of these. You can get them at any CVS or Walgreens. Between the hotels and the airplanes, we always have access to ice. Helps keep food fresh on long duty days and at those hotels without refrigerators.

Thank you and thank you to the others that have replied with helpful advice. I'll narrow it down based on what can hold the most food and also the company ipad and a Bose A20.

Just curious but how long would it take a new hire to upgrade coming in with 1000 hours 121?

http://www.strongbags.com/the-summit.html

I have this bag Strongbags Summit. It has enough room to fit my ipad, A20, and I have a cooler that goes inside. Only carry this with my rollaboard and I can carry a pretty good amount of food.

I guess someone can't be bothered to read even a single entire page of this thread before asking a question...

Junior captain was hired a little over a year ago, it'll take ~18 months for someone hired now regardless of 121 time

I think someone with the 1000 has the chance... and I say chance, I would put it at 20%... at bypassing and upgrading in a year. I also believe it could be 2 (70% chance) to maybe even 3 years (10% chance). That's just my opinion tho... It's very dynamic right now and hard to make an exact guess.

I know FO's hired in June 2015 that can't get the latest upgrade. So I know it's longer than 10 months.
