This whole assumption was based on two events:

1. An article posted on Delta Net and Bloomberg stating the company was eyeing a $2.3 billion purchase of up to fifty 76-seater regional jets.

2. Our own management saying during a conference call they were actively working to pursue addtl. flying/aircraft being sent our way if that deal did happen.

These are both things that did indeed occur and it's not like it's fiction. Therefore, it could be wildly, albeit unlikely assumed that if Delta is considering a purchase like that, that they have plans or aspirations to find a way to get those aircraft into the regional carriers. Yes, it could all be to replace the aging 50 seaters, but, unless that's all it really is (which was left for interpretation) the whole thing does raise questions.

The Bloomberg article referred to a union memo which was sent out on 9/10. So it reflected something which DL was probably trying to negotiate for back in late August/early September, but ultimately left out of the final TA (perhaps in favor of the JV stuff).

This, they were able to get the no more rjs the week the TA was announced. Those articles were being put out prior to that. THERE WILL BE NO MORE RJs allowed. Give it up guys. As for JV scope? Well they fought way too hard on the wrong end of scope IMO. The RJs will park themselves, JV scope is where our careers are.

Heard HK is gonna retire...put TSA and compass on one operating certificate... sell his MRJ options to cash out and put all the TSA pilots into 175s that TSH have options on... makes sense since the two contracts are actually becoming closer and closer aligned and there's no overlap in routes....

Gojetz will never be combined with Cpz. Cpz is alpa. Go jet is not.
TSH and CPZ is in the realm of possibility. Just not anytime soon. Whoever just said that above is just trolling on you guys.

I wont feed your troll about being better than Gojets or TSH. Most of us just want to get our time and move on. For the most part, a regional is a regional. Some offer better overall QOL than others. It just depends on what people want for bases, etc.
But I will say that neither CPZ or TSH sold out as an alter ego airline... Like gojets.

hey guys, just added a new person to the delta beneies, is there anything i have to do, or just let it run its course through THS and Delta? Its been a few days and not showing up on travelnet...
