Coming from the pilot group that, in this day and age, passes a 1% pay increase locked in at 5 years and calls it a win. Oh the Irony.

OK Mr. Historical-block pay, 1% for 5 years, no commuter clause, no parking reimbursement, no commuter hotels.

Oh, and Stall............[Max Thrust].

Hulas planning on matching oo pay rates any time soon? haha

1% for 5 years is not accurate. But I can see the importance of presenting it as such if you have your identify wrapped up in your employer.

Compass got the shaker over SMO below 10,000 ft. You can’t call someone out for the same or worse offense. It’s bad to get below speed in V/S on a CRJ, stall and then recover, but it’s worse to have it happen in a EJet, closer to the ground with less altitude to trade for airspeed. There was a Compass pilot that slipped the jet into SAN, and every Compass pilot knows that MW tried to line up, then take off with only 1 engine running, and is now at Compass as DO.

The point I’m making is airing dirty landry on one company or the other opens the conversation up to things which happen everywhere. Sure they had high altitude low speed events, but you don’t see them posting Compass FOQA events on here.

Worry only about Compass problems (or short comings compared to other comparable airlines) and how to make this place better until your departure for a legacy or other career destination airline. If you are getting paid more than SkyWest, they are not the company you need to compare pay with. When negotiating pay and work rules, it is compared to all of the competitors. My guess is Endeavor will raise their pay, and the AA wholly owned airlines will match. So Compass pilots here when the time comes should ask for more, so that a bonus is not needed to close the gap once another regional ups their pay.

This ^^ if you want to play the idiot pilot card we have to look in the mirror because we can no longer do night visuals into SJC, not because of something OO did, but us....so lets not go there.
