Challenger 601 nbaa Salary big market city
Hello all
Just curious what you all think a reasonable number is for PIC on a 601 in a big market. (NYC LAX SFO). Im already PIC typed, current and experienced on the 600/601 and 604/605. I have the pro pilot survey numbers but seeing if anyone knows nbaa and real world. MTOW is about 47000

601 pay lags behind 604/605 pay. MTOW is actually 44,600 or 45,100, so it straddles the Jet III/Jet IV line for NBAA. It also has significantly less range, even with the tail tank.
I'm sure you know those things since you're already typed on the plane, but I'm mentioning them in case somebody else comes across this thread.
Is the job strictly 91, or is it 135? That will play in to the numbers also. I think the posters above are pretty accurate with $140,000-160,000 in a big market. Given the operators that are still flying a plane this old though, you may end up getting offered less than that.

Thanks for the replys it does help me get prepared. Just for clarification yes it strictly 91 Corporate zero benefits. Just a straight salary. Is joining NBAA worth it to get a print out of the salary surveys?

Zero benefits? I’d say the salary needs to be closer to $180k in that case to account for no 401k, no health insurance, life insurance, etc.
