Amusing Corporate Job Ad
I ran across this ad on Indeed.com. Laughed a few times reading it, probably would be fun people to work for but if they don't want to buy a plane, it seems to me they should just charter or maybe look into a fractional.
We are looking for a pilot to fly employees to various locations across the US.
The ideal candidate would be a retired pilot with their own plane, who can basically be booked as needed for trips.
You must be a very good pilot, because my wife would kill me if we crashed.
We typically fly to Atlanta, Miami, LA, NYC, and Vegas for 1-3 days. It would be great to have someone available to go with us on those, plus some shorter one day trips.
It would be awesome if you could fly us farther, like Jamaica.
This is a very flexible position. If you were available a lot, we can use you a lot. If you’d prefer to work less, we can use two or more pilots and split the trips.
Since you’d be spending a lot of time with us, here’s a quick breakdown of who we are and what you could expect:
- We are Christian, but drink, smoke and cuss a little too much.
- We like to stay in nice places and will make sure you enjoy hanging out with us
- We are pretty young, so we need someone who will be mature enough to make sure the plane has fuel before we take off!
- We build really cool software and like to invent new stuff. You’d be taking us around the country to help other people build cool stuff
- We will treat you with respect and dignity. You’d be part of the team and treated as such, but you can’t drink as much as we do
