Unlike the other fast-food joints, McD's is actually keeping ahead of the health-awareness curve, I think...Have you tried their salads? Fantastic, and reasonably priced. Surely it's a stable flight department then

I don't know if I'd say that. There are 3 corporate flight depts around chicago that have operated aircraft for a LONG time that have/will be closing their doors. Ask the guys that used to work for Morgan Stanley if they thought they'd be on the street.

You think the world's largest fast food chain is the same as a financial giant whose wealth was built upon debt?

Sucks for those jobs lost, but one is not like the other.

Their airplanes disappeared long before the financial mess (years ago). Besides that, the point is your poop might not stink now, but it could in the future...never say never.

Morgan Stanley?

I do agree however, never say never in this business - that has always been the motto - just WAY more possible right now, for everyone.

OK, just to clarify for those that think i'm crazy...MS was based in Chicago, a few years ago they closed down their department here, laid off the department, sent the airplanes out east and subcontracted pilots & managed the aircraft through Jet Aviation. Thats the gist of it, although I'm sure someone on here could probably give you a much better time line and explanation of exactly how it went. So, again, never say never.

OK, I know they run through Jet Aviation now, just didn't know what exactly happened in Chicago....if they offered people to move etc...

Chicago - I recall seeing ads for Boeing and Motorola in the last 6 months or so - but of course a lot has changed since then.
