Default The gloves are off...

So government officials spend the last 6 months bashing corporate aviation. Their comments and proclamations about how businesses should not use their aircraft and should take the airlines or mass transit have directly affected our profession, our employment and our ability to provide for our families, and yes, pay our high taxes.

Today, the government's leader takes a massive jet from andrews to columbus, ohio to deliver from a spending spree from our tax money (they call it the stimulus law) a $ 1.25 M check to keep 27 peace officers employed.

That works out to roughly 45 K each, less benefits about a gross salary of $ 30 K for only 1 year...

Hey Government:

1. Rather than flying the massive jet, next time, send the spending spree check via USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL or other delivery companies
or
Stop bashing our industry!!!

2. Stick that in your teleprompters...

Hear, hear.

Certainly, we need police. We don't need short term work like this, we need careers.
Please congress, put down the prompters and pick up the credit markets. Some of you may not know that most businesses borrow for payroll.

I'd say those that never ran a business, a town or a state wouldn't know...

I flew our so called saviors wife in July 2007 on a Learjet probably to help him get elected, what kind of hypocrit rails against an industry that helped get him elected and supplies good paying american jobs? That Big Blue Jet cost 1 million dollars an hour to operate and the goverment is in the red by trillions of dollars. Maybe we should demand that they quit using that Big Blue Jet, after all their always saying that it is our money their spending. I have seen the queen of England arrive on British Airways, Maybe our so called savior should start Chartering United or Delta, lets see how that works out.

What about the deal with Nancy Pelosi not liking the Citation (I think) she took on a flight from DC to California, and had to re-fuel from what I understand. She was so incensed at this, that she demanded that from now on she takes a private chartered 757 to travel in. BY HERSELF! No government waste there folks!

It just ticks me off that when I was in the union, ALPA PAC was pushing these very same hypocritical politico-socialists that are now crushing my fledgling corporate career...

And quite frankly anybodys career that depends on fossil fuel - carbon tax? - gimmie a break

anyone that heats their home

anyone that uses electricity

is their goal to have the rest of us standing in soup lines???

Yeah she was actually flying a G5 back and forth to CA. since she is on the short list for president in her position, she has to have secret service protection. She claimed with the SS and and her staff, the G5 wasn't big enough! SO she petition'd to get use of the 75' Thats disgusting!

ABC News: Pelosi Seeks Upgrade for Government-Provided Plane

It's only $22,000 per hour and would save a 1/2 hour refueling stop.

Default Madam Speaker ...

The amazing part is that a C-20 (G-III) will fly from Washington DC to San Francisco non-stop with adequate reserves and alternates every day of the year. For crying out loud ... a G-III is a 7.5 hour airplane at M.80 cruise! What a crock of dung ... I am sooooo off that witch.
