Default Tennessee corporate flying jobs

Hello Everybody,

I am currently training in the regionals and have previous 135 experience. I would like to stay in the regionals for about 2 years to gain more experience and until I turn 23 so I can acquire my ATP. (currently have about 1200tt and 700t multi. and about 600 of that in turboprop in an MU-2 SIC and about 150 of that time in turboprop is PIC) I was just curious if anybody would know of any corporate flying jobs in the Knoxville, Chattanooga, or Nashville area that I could start looking into because I live descently close to these places. Also I would like to make a career in corporate aviation. Thank You In Advance

Hey Topper, thank you so much for the reply. I have been looking into Nashville Jet and was thinking of sending them a resume here in the near future when I reach 2000+ hours even if I do not have my ATP by then. (doesn't hurt to try) I am still trying to get an idea of what jobs are in Chattanooga though. If anybody on this forum flies or has flown for Nashville Jet or any other corporate jobs in Tennessee and has some info. to post please do so. Thanks again everybody.

McKee Foods is based in CHA and has a few Citations in their corporate flight department. I don't know if they are hiring right now though.

Hey Oldschoollear,

Sorry it took me awhile to respond, I have been flying alot and haven't been home much. To answer your question, my initials are DM. Just to get my name out there I dropped off some resumes in CHA, because after talking with some guys close to home I heard that there were some really great companies there in CHA. Eventually, I hope soon, I will be able to get with a company in the CHA area since I live in Cleveland and the life would be alot better. I have not been in the regionals long, but I would like to go back and fly corporate because I enjoyed it alot better than flying 121. Maybe one of the companies in CHA will see my resume and give me an interview. But, until then, I will keep trying.

Not trying to flame you, but I was curious how you logged SIC time in an MU2 when the aircraft is certified as Single Pilot? That was always one of my favorite planes!

It can be done, if their ops specs require a two pilot crew. Most 135 ops require two pilots under IFR, especially if the autopilot is inop.
