Grumble,
I'm referring to the 1,000 plus failure items there's no code for and you have no way of knowing about until all the holes in the swiss cheese align - hence any trouble shooting is only a stab in the dark (this discussion could deviate into the Alaska air crew who "over troubleshot" the system and ultimately precipated the loss of the jack screw - another discussion!)I think we're thinking along the same lines, I'm just advocating the difficulty of coping with unanticipated interactions of electrons vs. the cable pulley era. Benefits of FBW- absolutely. Unanticipated consequences- certainly a possibility also.

Its downright maddening.
I have resorted to leaving it on speakerphone as I painted a bathroom today.
