The Marriott Rewards credit card has an annual fee...no thanks.
As for breakfast, I have no problem with HGI - eaten at the "Great American Grill" more times than I can count and never been disappointed. Though I do prefer Embassy Suites breakfast, that is when its not overrun by screaming girl scouts or a soccer team or other group of loud, poorly-chaperoned children.
New/renovated Courtyards also have a very good breakfast...

I'll proudly consider myself a point slut. Did a week at Disneyland with the kids and didn't spend a dime on lodging for a week with two rooms. That being said we don't drive past very many nicer properties to stay at Hiltons or Hamptons.

This year they also did away with the international exchange fees, so for those of us that spend time abroad it can literally equal thousands of dollars. It maybe a Chase wide policy now, I do not know.
