ADI Shuttle Group, (Intel) Info?
I did a search on ADI Shuttle Group, a suitably vague title for Intel's flight operations, and the only thing I came up with was jack #@*! from 2007.
Anybody have any, well intel, on Intel's flight biz? I know they fly company ERJ's Mon thru Fri, weekends, holidays off, betweem IWA and Oregon and California, everything that’s published on 350.com, which isn't much, but what's the pay? Upgrade? QOL? Culture? Health? Do they run a seniority list or is it kiss-tail, schmooze-merit upgrade/furlough?
Their required mins are modestly high, 3000 total, etc., my guess, and I hope somebody posts to clear this up, is that they aren't going to pay too low if they are running Allegiant like hiring mins.
Thanks,
P

How 'bout putting on a suit and tie and knock on their door? I guarantee there is no seniority list, it's a corporate flight dep't, not an airline. With your comments on that subject, I don't believe you would fit in.
At most corporate departments, salary and benefits are discussed after the offer is extended. We just interviewed and that discussion is off the table until HR sends out the offer.

No seniority list, merit based upgrade and starting captain pay is approx 60K I think.
People go there as a lifestyle choice & no I don't work there. Hope that helps.

If they are paying those numbers for a corporate shuttle deal, they are way off. I would expect 90K for CA, 70K for F/O, minimum. It is not a regional airline! QOL is, no doubt, good, Intel's a great company, but salary should be higher.
Sorry, for being blunt, but the only way forward in corporates is get in the door, ask for hiring, monitor websites, network like crazy. I've been in and out of it for 30 years and that's the base requirement. Once inside, offers come to you without asking, believe me.

The basic mins for any corporate job is an ATP, AMEL 2,000 to 3,000 hours, some turbine PIC time, at least 500 hours and a type in a jet plane. Many departments prefer a type in one of their planes, but can't always get it. I see a lot of departments and that seems to be ballpark mins. Personality is huge, especially in those that do long international trips. as I posted elsewhere, one department wants mil guys that are also scratch golfers, mine doesn't care about sports, we rarely have that much time and it's hard to play golf in China or India.
Intel shuttle is likely to prefer ERJ guys because that is close to their operation and can an offer a lower salary. PIC time and a type would be highly desirable, I'd guess. Knock on their door at Willy, plus apply on their website, like most operators.
