Wouldn't really classify as a corp. job. Probably better posting that in low time/91

Like I said, probably wouldn't classify as a corporate job. A CFI or traffic pilot could make 100k and that still wouldn't classify as corporate.....and the ad says they're looking for 500 hrs PIC.

Maybe we have different definitions of corporate aviation. Any company with $47 billion in assets and over 4000 employees looking for pilots would count as a corporate gig in my book. Does it have to require a type or moving passengers to count?

As far as CFI's making 100k...you are out of touch with reality.

O.K. I think you might have misunderstood my point. I didn't say a CFI can make 100k. I was simply saying that a salary doesn't put a CFI job or a pipeline patrol job into the corporate category. My initial post wasn't looking for an argument it was pointing out that you would have more interested people under a different forum category. You just wanna argue, though, don't ya?

I think we do have different definitions of corporate aviation. A guy flying pipeline patrol is not a corporate pilot any more than a Fedex 767 captain is a corporate pilot. Fedex has plenty of money, employees, and pilots and that doesn't make them corporate.

No, not argue I just know what that a low time pilot isn't going to cut it. It may say 500 hrs but 1500 with turbine time is where it will start (ATP preferred). While the primary role will be pipe, other missions include moving passengers and possibly cargo. In addition to the current falcon and gulfstream, there may be a need for another corporate aircraft. It would be great to find a corporate pilot willing to fly some pipe who could bring a wealth of experience.

I didn't mean to come across as argumentative. I just thought this was the best place. However I took your advice and added it to the low time/91.
