Default Aircraft Usage Charges

I used to fly for the regionals but now work in Finance for a company with a corporate aircraft. We are looking at how aircraft usage is charged to different departments and I was curious if your companies charge by the point to point distance, distance flown, or hours used? Any information will be helpful.

We use the "centralized" allocation method whereby all of the HQ service costs including the aircraft are equally divided among the operational departments. This is easy and suites our needs. However, as you know, there are many ways to do it.

This might get you started.
