I was 30 when I left Continental. Not bitter about it at all... loved it, but wanted more. I'd love to tell you what I am doing now, but you would spin it in your sick little mind.

First friend (DAL 75/76) had been there 8 years, he was 39.

Second friend left United A320 when he was early 40s, had been there about 8 years as well.

All left for better pay, better QOL, better personal challenges. No early retirement, no bonuses... just personal decisions. I love how you know everything about everyone.

Can you go away now troll? Your cave is getting cold.
Your friends left for better personal challenges? They were right about that part. As far as pay? May be if they were so narrow minded to consider only their pay for the next couple years. But I still doubt it.
As far as QOL, once again, that is too subjective.
If all is true, and they did not have any personal extenuating circumstances, or special early retirement deals, to leave a legacy and go for a corporate, good for them. They are the exceptions to an overwhelming opposite tendency, go wonder why.

As far as you, I am still not clear, you left Continental to go to Comair, and then ABX? Something does not make sense.

Did you work during a strike?

I love how you try and twist it so that now you're insinuating that I'm a scab.... You're a real piece of work. If you're a real tough guy, pm me your name and address. Quit hiding in your troll cave.

I'll spell it out for you and hold your hand like a small child... I left CAL pre-merger for a 91 corp job flying very nice bizjets. Nothing doesn't make sense except in your feeble mind. I have never looked back... Pay, benefits, QOL, retirement.... All better than where I would have been had I stayed. Personal gratification much higher, too, IMO.

Just face it... You don't know everything sport. Good luck to you. I hope you work it out.

I just asked you a question, and your threat is pathetic, but you did not answer.
Additionally, where you not associated with Comair and ABX?
You still did not answer that neither.
So how much you make now? You must be the only corporate pilot that makes more than a legacy heavy captain.
And if you are the exception that confirm the rule, don't you see how the tendency is completely the opposite? How many major airlines pilots are flooding the corporate applications? Isn't the other way around?
Are all these pilots also feeble minded? You being the smartest?
And your dare for my name and address...
HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA
PLEASE.... Are you a teenager or just mentally challenged?
What would you do with my name and address, do tell me
Make me lough more, please...

Not everybody has the personality or desire to be a 121 pilot, even at a major or legacy...regardless of compensation or QOL.

Not everybody has the personality or desire to be a 91 pilot, even at the very best large-cabin operation...regardless of compensation or QOL.

What is so difficult for some people to understand about that basic concept?

As I told you before, you are a double faced snake.
You PM saying that you were ready to do the jump to 121 yourself, because you have it with 91. You tried to flatter me on the PM.
But you deny it here in public, and say that you will never change your job to go to the airlines. You are weak and miserable.
You don't deserve any more answers.
I just write you here to call you off, but you will be I ignored after that. You are disgrace. Now go cry to a moderator again, sissy.

Agreed 100% and that is why talking about QOL is so subjective that becomes futile. Talk money and other quantitative comparable, and the majors win hands down. Why is so difficult for some people to accept this basic reality?

While I would stipulate that the "average" major W2 is likely higher than the "average" 91 W2...what other "quantitative comparable" factors are there beyond compensation?

While quality of life is subjective, that does not mean it isn't worthy of consideration for an individual OR that an individual cannot or should not attach a dollar figure to it. I know commuting to fly a narrowbody flying hub turns up and down the east coast (as an example) is my idea of hell, and while it wouldn't always be that way, I value my time and stress higher than the compensation for such a position...especially while my children are young.

Others would feel totally differently, and that's okay.

Relocation is always an option, but for family considerations, FOR ME, it really isn't.

Different strokes for different folks and all that.

Happiness doesn't pay the bills, but it sure makes writing the checks less miserable.

Please provide evidence of a statemeht from me saying "I've had it with 91 and was jumping ship".
A simple congrats is flattery?
You wouldn't even give the name of the major you got hired with.

Adrian Cronauer was right about you!

My Lord... you are an idiot.

Anything you post from now on will be met with the question for you to post your name and address. If you are such a tough guy, you should have no problem doing this.
