So mainly it is just about parking over at the FBO and going up to talk to pilots and just chatting it up about whatever it may be? I have heard corp. pilots like to show off their "equipment" and offering to help them with something if they need it?

I really don't have any business cards. I'm working on my CFI right now and hoping to have it done in a few months.

Thanks for the help!
Find a company, talk to the pilot. If they are receptive, ask him to keep you in mind. Touch base with them every so often. Is there nobody at your small airport that you can build some type of raport with? Chances are, they are connected to someone who may need some help sometime.

I never said it was easy. Try to be respectful--word travels better on a good reputation. There are a bunch of pilots, but worker pilots are rare. When you have no big flight experience to go on, you really have to sell yourself. As far as the expense of flying over to the other airport--why fly? Most pilots making networking connections that I know of usually drove.
