I have a friend out of Ponca City, OK that flies one for his boss and does contract work for other people in the Wichita, Kansas and Oklahoma City area. He's the only pilot on his airplane so they use contract guys as well. He could probably hook you up with several other names. PM me and I'll give you his contact info.

I'm not current in it anymore but I sure liked flying it. I have several thousand hours in the 1124 (WW1 and WW2) and a 1000+ in the 1121 (Jet Commander). The WW had more endurance than you wanted to be sitting up front for. It wasn't fast (.72 normal cruise), wasn't sexy like the Lear, handled like a truck, but it got the job done. 5+ hours endurance. No calendar items except for the pitot static and O2 bottle check every 24 months. Inspections were strictly time items. 200 hour A Check, 400 hour B Check, and 800 hour C Check. You could park in the hangar and not have to pay for inspections if you weren't using it. Great airplane, just didn't have the sex appeal to make it appealing to the buyers. Just thought I would chime in. Carry on....

My dad flew one as copilot and loved it. He was considering getting a type rating for it, but he is kind of glad he didn't as it is a pretty rare sight now.

Thanks for the feedback guys. They are a great airplane! I have been flying them for over 15 years and currently manage and fly one on the side. Our fleet, pilots, parts etc.. are starting to dwindle, so I thought I would make a group on facebook to try and keep tabs on stuff.
Dufur2003: I'll send you a PM. I heard there was an 1124 in PNC and some of my contract guys fly it.
GVCPT: Hard to beat the maintenance schedule on one of these birds. Perfect airplane for someone who flies 100hr +/- a year.

I've been flying a WWI for the last few years, ours is for sale as we recently bought a different plane.
Also there's an excellent pilot who does contract work and I believe he's out of Witchita, his name is Todd T*****, I have his number if you're interested.

New to these forums, I post regularly on Jetcareers though.
I am WW1124 PIC typed and current, based out of ARR. Company sends me yearly to recurrent to SimCom.
Can I have access to that list of people that fly this old girl? We always always always need someone else.
I can give more contact info if you want to add me to it.
