1. As of November 2015 the FAA has begun removing marketing names from the Civil Model Designation column. When determining the appropriate type rating of an aircraft, compare the aircraft model from Block 2 of the Airworthiness Certificate to the Civil Model Designation column below. The column titled Current Type Rating Designation will show the appropriate type rating for this aircraft.

I like the LR25. It's a fun airplane that handles like a sports car. There are definite differences between the LR25 models in the way they fly, and more information would definitely be necessary before thinking about a ferry. Where to where, and in what condition? The 25, like the 24, burns enough fuel and burns it fast enough that one can almost see the fuel gauge move. There are a lot of parts of the world where one can very quickly run out of options, even when all is working well.
