Per Fox news reporter: https://twitter.com/ChadPergram/stat...668771329?s=20

Due to health concerns, Senate now out until October 19
Of course, an agreement could have been reached weeks ago, its not like Sept 30 came up and surprised everybody.

This is why things you should do, should be done on time.

LOL Yes. Who knows? After the election most politicians won't care about the optics of how they vote. Of course that sword can cut both ways so it will be interesting to see. I tell you who has be sweating are all the people hoping for a presidential pardon. Depending on how a whole host of events turn out they could be SOL big time.

There weren't a lot of people furloughed yet.

My guess is that house will not hand a bunch of cash to the airlines, and let them just keep tens of thousands of mostly low-wage employees on the street.

Exactly right. Happened before. Almost every time federal personnel get furloughed due to no budget, when the new budget or CR gets passed, it always has retroactive pay.

How many have been furloughed already, guys? I'm thinking United has, American, Hawaiian, and Republic? Who Else? Which Reps and Senators are the ones to talk to?
