I’m sorry if I got you mixed up with someone else. https://www.statista.com/statistics/1191568/reported-deaths-from-covid-by-age-us/ If you’re under the age of 50, we really don’t need to be delaying reopening because “not everyone has been vaccinated (herd immunity)” after everyone over 50 HAS been vaccinated. Edit: I don’t mind being vaccinated, I’d just rather not be a guinea pig, especially if I’m not considered vulnerable. |
Do we know yet how long those of us that got over COVID are immune?

Drop-offs rates in immune-response serum levels observed to date over the last year seem to hint at longer duration, not shorter. So maybe we get lucky there. That would roughly correlate to vaccine-induced immunity too. |

I’m too young (mid 20’s) to be considered a priority, but I’m just fine with that! I’ll let you guys test your medicals first. But we already know the FAA has some concerns about "long-haul" symptoms, and that's not limited to old folks. I'm more worried about the effect of covid on my medical, than a vaccine. |

I was called by the company contact tracer recently and was told that if you have been infected within the last three months (It’s been five months for me and I still have the antibodies, but didn’t meet the criteria for contact so had to go to work), the CDC says you should still have antibodies and not be a transmission risk, which contradicts the POLITICAL scientists who say you can be an asymptomatic carrier if you have the antibodies. In fact, my doctor said the best thing I could do now is continue to be exposed to build up the immune system. He and his whole staff have been infected and he is following his own advice, which gives me confidence in him. I guess if he’s wrong I’ll be posting from quarantine.😁 To be sure, give blood. The Red Cross is doing AB tests with donations. I’m eligible again in May and hoping I’m still positive. |
I’m not anti-vax, but as I weigh the benefits of the vaccine against the consequences of the virus (it’s already been through my family and the side affects most people have are worse than the symptoms we experienced) So I don’t see a benefit to get it.
As I said in the previous post, the CDC says you’re not a transmitter if you have antibodies, and I’m still testing positive for them. And my doctor says immunity is likely to be almost indefinite after the antibodies are gone; according to studies he’s read. So for us, there’s really nothing motivating us to get it. We’re certainly not gonna do it just because it’s the politically correct thing to do, or because someone might get triggered by our POV. If the job requires it, then I’ll have a decision to make. |

I got my medical last week, even placed the vaccine on the medical application. My doc thanked me for getting it. My blood pressure is lower then it’s been in years, every other metric passed with flying colors. I guess I passed that gigantic test. I didn’t mention the cellphone chatter I keep receiving from the chip injection site, but I’m sure the doc couldn’t hear me anyways with his 5G chip working at full blast.
Congratulations on your blood pressure being low I guess haha. |

Yeah, not referring to having issues receiving a first class medical by stating you’ve been vaccinated..... until they discover side effects of taking the vaccine. They’ll know who to call now though.
