We live in a time where the “Stockholm syndrome” has become a world wide occurrence. While the COVID is real it is also real there are those whose vision of the world is more in line with autocratic leadership, socialist ideals and are using the virus to advance their revolution (they call it a “reset”).
Since all of us have become “captives” of this singular COVID narrative, it is also inevitable we too are slowly falling into the same syndrome.
And yes, I too have in many ways succumb to their propaganda. Why? Because like others I want to return to some sort of normal. For instance, regardless of what I believe to be the truth about mask wearing I wear them in stores, restaurants and according Company edicts at work. Because I want people to prosper.
Yes there is new normal and even people outside of Dubai are willing to rat on their neighbors.
