There's an exit plan, likely in flux and even a bit disjointed, but everyone is sick of this and to suggest otherwise is just plain foolish. Did the governments get everything right? Nope, there will hopefully be some lessons learned here but if you are telling me any of this has to do with restricting your freedoms for the purpose of dragging this stupid pandemic on or vice versa...well can't help ya.

PCR threshold, hospitalizations, death rates do you think they are just winging it with no data? Look, it clearly won't be a delineated line where we say, "welp, all good back to normal!", but I'd venture to say by the summer with the amount of vaccinations and warm weather things will be looking up.

Can you provide a single, verifiable metric that this is somehow a rouse to take away our freedoms?

I also don't see a verifiable metric in your response. Kinda the definition of winging it, no?

Not to mention having to take a covid test to do anything, advocating for freedom passports to get back to normal life, no travel ever again.

Metrics, every state has them...here's mine they aren't just winging it good grief. Enough virtue signaling.

We, fortunately, are a key enabler of a significant sector of the national (and global economy): tourism and travel.

That's a super crappy byproduct not a rouse to steal freedoms. It is by no means 'not a big deal' so nice try.

I'm all about someone having a differing opinion than me. What I cannot stand, is when they don't own up to what their opinion actually means. As more of this happens, it becomes very clear who is on the wrong side of the issues.

Those questions asked, I will say the gubmint should do more to assist folks when dealing with something like this. If they are going to ask people to stay home, more effort should have been made to ensure people have food on the table and jobs to go back to.
But we're drifting here aren't we? There are metrics, there are rational folks working to end this and we will make it back.
