I'm just throwing out a guess here but maybe because San Francisco and Seattle are 5th and 6th fittest major us cities. Also with high Asian populations, which we have already established have better diets, health, and genetics than westerners.
Not sure what you mean by racism, The west coast is the closest destination from China.
Wyoming and Montana also had high searches for loss of smell and loss of taste early last year. Were they the early hot beds also?
