Nonsense. Just a meme of someone autocratic checking on papers. Would you prefer this?

Or would you prefer to pretend that WWII just never happened? It did you know?

And it wasn’t like Hogan’s Heroes...

It protects yourself AND the ones who cannot be vaccinated.

Obviously I'm kidding, but see how moronic that sounds?

Like I said it's going to be a 1% thing. They're out there.

Who knows what's next? But any CA can ask to see your vaccine card if you ask for the JS. You're free to decline. He's free to not take you if he's not comfortable.

When it's YOUR jumpseat it you can 100% totally legit deny a JS to a guy who has a political bumper sticker on his bag that you don't like... obvious distraction and flight safety issue if it ****es you off. If he really wanted to ride he shouldn't have controversial, inflammatory politics on display.

That's how the JS works.

Airlines put their foot down hard on the mask-in-the-cockpit issue... if it's not SOP (and the FAA did not allow it to be SOP) then the CA cannot impose it on the FO. Vaccines will probably be the same (if the vaccine is not company-mandated). The company cares if the CA boots the FO. The company will not force the CA to take jumpseaters, because they don't care.

My doctor recommended I don’t get vaccinated and I don’t care if those around me are or not.

Well…it’s not private medical information if your company requires it for continued or future employment.
You are already required to present your medical and certificate.
Maybe I don’t want anybody to know I’m required to wear corrective lenses?

Very few people will be that anal, it's going to be a 1% thing and YOUR airline is going to have that very same 1%. But thanks for bringing it up, I hadn't thought to carry my vaccine card with my passport.

BTW it's "nip it it in the bud", I'm not sure if butt nipping is appropriate for APC, we try to keep it PG-13.
If he and his FO are vaccinated why would he be uncomfortable, except to make a VS point? If the FO isn’t vaccinated does he refuse the trip? Does he make sure everyone around him at the bar, Walmart, and ballgame have their card? So much of this is forced compliance by authority or shame just to try to validate their own choice.

So you can potentially sit next to a pilot who isn’t vaccinated for your job. But some dude who wants a ride to work who isn’t vaccinated is out.

god speed to that dude who gets a line check with a CKA who isn’t vaccinated and an FO who isn’t.

Or commute next to a pax who isn’t vaccinated, but the cockpit is off limits to commuters.

Yeah, I don't think so, Rick. And you better believe that the issue will be forced.

Every airline has COVID guidance, and I suspect that guidance says that the flight deck jumpseaters are required to wear masks. This nimrod isn't free to make up his own rules, and if he requires proof of vaccination or no ride (his own rule) without regard of the mask (actual rule), then this idiot is jeopardizing his airline's jumpseat agreements. Someone, somewhere will retaliate and it snowballs from there.

His Twitter bio says it all.
