Back up your statement that most doctors refuse to prescribe it.

Japanese Medical Association Chairman Tells Doctors to Prescribe Ivermectin for COVID

AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) issues new guidlines for treatment of COVID 19 cases

"Dr. Ozaki cited evidence from African nations that have utilized Ivermectin during the pandemic. He stated: “In Africa, if we compare countries distributing Ivermectin once a year with countries who do not give Ivermectin… they don’t give Ivermectin to prevent COVID but to prevent parasitic disease… if we look at COVID numbers in countries that give Ivermectin, the number of cases is 134.4/100,000 and the number of deaths is 2.2/100,000 . . . African countries which do not distribute Ivermectin: 950.6 cases per 100,000 and 29.3 deaths per 100,000.”

In his opinion, he believes that this shows a clear difference between the illness and fatality rates amongst nations that use Ivermectin and those that do not: “I believe the difference is clear. Of course one cannot conclude that Ivermectin is effective only on the basis of these figures, but when we have all of these elements, we cannot say that Ivermectin is absolutely not effective, at least not me."

Not to mention the 1500+ studies of Ivermectin for COVID on PubMed of which this is just a sample:

This isn't an article on % of doctors prescribing ivermectin, but it does show the difficulty in getting a normal (non-telemedicine/self-pay per consult) doctor to prescribe it. If people were able to get it normally, they wouldn't be going through the lengths in the article or buying dewormer paste off the internet.

Considering I know several people that have had their doctors prescribe it, why is it so difficult? Besides, you can’t make a blanket statement that the majority of doctors can’t/won’t without backing it up.

Here's one of the doctors that wrote the book on early treatment testifying at a Texas senate hearing last March. Interesting 20 minutes. Lots of countries around the world have had great success with the early treatments he outlines. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAHi3lX3oGM Here's the paper he references in the video: https://www.amjmed.com/article/S0002...673-2/fulltext

If you have a bit more time (1:45) - This one is from way back in the beginning of all this in March of 2019. Congressional hearing consulting vaccine experts on what to do about the pandemic when it was still new. Watch it and tell me if you get the vibe our senators had already decided the vaccine was the answer despite listening to an expert go on for an hour explaining why it wasn't.

I don't think you'll find a survey of 4000 doctors (although that would be good to see). I'm just saying that it's a logical extension that if people aren't going to their doctor to get it, that it must not be that easy. Certainly would be easier to get a prescription for a $2 pill, than guessing on a tube of apple flavored horse dewormer from amazon or trying to set up a pre-paid telemedicine appointment with no-show providers from "America's Front Line Doctors."

The folks I know taking this stuff are buying it at Tractor Supply, then looking on the internet to create a doing amount and schedule. They’re willing to do all this but won’t take a simple shot. Genius.

From BusinessInsider.com:

"The majority of those calls related to individuals attempting to use ivermectin to treat COVID-19, center director Ashley Webb told the Courier-Journal. Three-quarters of those calls were individuals who bought the drug from feed or farm supply stores, while a quarter of the people who called were from individuals who had prescriptions for the drug. "

For the state of Kentucky.

Help me out with the point again? If it is that people should only take ivermectin under a physicians oversight at the proper doses, I agree…?
