Almost every single study about masks with actual data supports everything that Dr. Fauci says privately. Not just masks, but almost everything he says contradicts what he’s said the 30 years pre-Covid.

There are actually tons of doctors and infectious disease experts, including one of the earliest developers of mRNA vaccines that have differing opinions but you choose not to listen to them because you would give more weight to a pre-med student as long as he is on TV compared to someone with 30 years of expertise if he’s not quoted by one of your “trusted” sources.

You do realize that half the world feels the same way right? It’s not just the Qanon people who watch Tucker. Or perhaps I missed last night’s ratings….
Brian Stelter 600k
Rachel Maddow 800k
Tucker 4 Billion
Apparently Tucker is pretty popular in Asia, Africa, and South America.

Your infectious disease experts are so smart that a month ago we surpassed more deaths in the U.S. in 2021 than in 2020 when absolutely ZERO people were vaccinated. Despite over 80% of the highest risk people being vaccinated now.

Your experts are so smart that almost all of the highest vaccinated counties in the U.S., almost all of the highest vaccinated states in the U.S., and almost every highly vaccinated country in the world have the highest Covid case rates than their lower vaccinated counterparts. In some areas it’s even HIGHER than 2020 when NO ONE was vaccinated. Not to mention Gibraltar’s experts have cancelled all of the Christmas celebrations because of a large spike in Covid even though over 99% of their population is vaccinated and over 50% is triple vaccinated.

Your experts are so smart that Florida, which is arguably the least restricted state in the country… has the lowest case rate of any state in the U.S. Not one of the lowest… the lowest. While also having one of oldest populations in the country who are the most at risk group.

Your experts are so smart that many of the countries with Omicron will not let you in if youre not vaccinated. Yet, somehow, Omicron made it to their country anyway. I wonder how that happened?
If you actually work for United now you either sold out your principals for J and J or on unpaid leave. Def not wasting any attention on whatever is above in quotes…

The people that actually get Covid? Yes I do. They have a much higher rate than a vaccinated person will. Almost two years in and you don’t understand this?

There’s more to the story than that “99% survival rate.” Ever hear of long-Covid?

Only on the internet. You might want to step away from electronics for a while.

Do you understand that “much higher rate” doesn’t mean anything near “most”?

The absolute simplest google search in the world would show you that the overwhelming majority of people, vaccinated or unvaccinated, who get Covid are not hospitalized. Two years in and you still don’t understand that?

Your concern unless you are old or have some other health issue is driven primarily by your media source. It’s why in a Gallup poll, democrats polled through Mar 2021 thought the hospitalization rate was 50%+ when the actual number is 1-5%.

I support getting vaccinated and a 70 yo who would have otherwise died will live because of it. But for the vast majority of those who choose to not be vaccinated, it will be a bad cold. The only thing holding us back at the moment are policies, not vaccination status.

Interesting study done on the other side of the pond; turns out a fair number of self-reported "long-Covid" sufferers never actually had Covid. Psychosomatic, 100%.

Of more interest: Re-infection. That's a story that's underreported. The data, of course, is crap, but I read somewhere that something like (maybe) 30% of those who had Covid and counted on "natural immunity" were reinfected at a later date.

IDK. The data is crap, your government lies daily about a million different things, and Big Pharma exists to make huge profits -- and Pfizer/Moderna are completely retooling to "treat" Covid as their primary business model.

Alright, that's 100% fair, and you've specifically referenced my specific assertion in a non inflammatory way.

I'll have to admit this was something I came across a few months ago (or longer, but it stuck with me), and it may have been in a very pro-vaccine podcast.

Could be junk science specifically tailored to encourage vaccination. Plenty of that going around. IDK

Best I can find today is here: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33718968/

Reinfection cited here is MUCH lower than 30% for the non-vaccinated; it's more like 6% (with a bazillion qualifiers; even this number may be misleading, but in a way that suggests "natural immunity" after infection is highly protective).
