Default Ready reserve

Is it common for them to put you on ready reserve every day you have reserve?

Usually they have a few just come in for ready reserve. But it's real common for them to tack it on at the end of your shift as the rest of your crew goes home.

It's there way of saying "we can and will make your life suck on reserve".

every day no but they do seem to have quite a few stand alone ready reserve assignments. 2 years ago i got about 5 a month. i would guess 3-8 a month is what most people seem to get.

Don't worry,
SAPA is working on a policy where there will be no more ready reserve at the end of a day. Instead of being on ready and getting paid to more likely break guarantee, you'll just have to call after you land to see if they have added anything to your schedule.
Genius, being on call without actually getting paid to be on call.

That's how Southwest does it; scheduling is required to either assign you something when you call or release you. I hope SAPA can get something comparable because we're all aware how abusive Crew Support can be without strict, airtight guidance.
