Usually they have a few just come in for ready reserve. But it's real common for them to tack it on at the end of your shift as the rest of your crew goes home.
It's there way of saying "we can and will make your life suck on reserve".

SAPA is working on a policy where there will be no more ready reserve at the end of a day. Instead of being on ready and getting paid to more likely break guarantee, you'll just have to call after you land to see if they have added anything to your schedule.
