If the goal is the elimination of the airlines why did they throw us billions of dollars to prevent us being eliminated?

My union has expressed their disagreement my company has stopped contact tracing.

Contract tracing has always been a failure. It is a ridiculous, futile endeavor. There are many peer reviewed studies showing contract tracing is of no benefit.

Look at the constant nonsense from AFA if you want to see true tyrannical hysteria.

It isn’t just Fauci.

The entire response from COVID, from Day 1, when the “expert models” showed a virus that was relentless and would kill 5% of the population…the entire response has been hysterical, unscientific and political.

COVID has shown the failures of authority and the limits of human medical technology.

Good luck getting authority to stop their attempts at frivolous control.

The emperor truly has no clothes. Humans are their own worst enemies.

Most of that was during Trump. Also that was a small amount of the trillions they spent. Probably worth it to now have leverage over the entire industry to do things like Vax mandates and eventually whatever other restrictions they decide to impose due to Climate change.

0.84% Absolute Risk Reduction. Only thing everyone needs to know. Say it louder now.... 0.84% Absolute Risk Reduction.

i see, so trump made a unilateral decision to save the airlines, almost like a dictator? Or did it get voted on by a bipartisan congress? Personally I would rather not see a passenger mandate, time to stop protecting the stupid people, let em die off…. let’s go Darwin!

100,000,000 more in poverty globally because of the reaction of COVID. Millions upon millions of lives disrupted…childrens development upended. Higher death rates from hypertension, cardiac arrest, dementia and drug overdose. Massive insolvency and trillions of dollars of more debt. Additional stress and depression that can’t be measured.

But, who cares? There are obese elderly people in the 1st world that can’t accept the risk of death from natural causes. Surely, their hysterical needs are more important than everyone else, right?

The CARES Act was voted on and approved by Congress. Hello?

yeah, that's not going to happen, and if they try it, no one will seriously enforce it.

If you are employed by an airline I would hope not. I hope this would transcend whatever political ideology you subscribe to and as Pilots we could work together to stop this threat to all of our livelihoods.

The biggest sign of this is the constant reporting and decision making based off of the infection count.

The infection count only mattered in early 2020 when there was no vaccine, no cure, and little was understood about it.

The count that matters now is the hospitalization and death rates AMONG THE VACCINATED. Which are so low they aren't statistically significant. Reporting infection rates is like the TV weather guy reporting wind chill instead of the actual temperature. Way more impressive number that gets more attention and "buzz".

Yet career politicians, political hacks with an agenda, and media talking heads keep mentioning the infection counts because thats the Big Scary Number that ensures hysteria and compliance. I predicted 3 months ago that a Scary New Variant would emerge just in time for the mask mandates to be extended. They did not disappoint. You can plan on another one in March. Never mind that the "omicron" was a actually the common cold, and this morning the CDC Propaganda Agency did a 180 and said "naw it's actually still Delta" because the omicron wasn't scary enough to force compliance. That should tell you everything you need to know.

It may be time for some civil disobedience. The government needs to obey the will of the people and there is no way a majority of Americans support these constant restrictions on our freedom, with the constant moving of goal posts to justify it.
