The number of “cases” is not the metric we should be paying attention to. If we counted the number of cold and flu “cases” every year, it would be a staggering number. The metric that matters is how many are being hospitalized as a result of the virus (not just with the virus), and Omicron is extremely low. I believe Alec Baldwin has killed more people than this latest strain. So let’s calm down people.
