simple...PB/PR’s get placed on the next RES on call day in the bid period...if no on call days remain, they go in the bank

so nothing tricky on the calculation? If my first GS results in a PR ending at 0800…then the 2nd GS PB/PR calculation just stacks on that 0800 time?

No.

You are now working on the PR day when you started the 2nd GS.

The PB/PR days from the 2nd GS will be placed on the next RES on call day AFTER the rotation ends.

When the GS rotation ends....add 9 hours (free of duty), than another 24 hrs for each off day (X/PB/PR) that were interrupted

the PB/PRs I’m referencing are over a week from now. I’m flying multiple GSs within a two week X-day block at the beginning of the bid period. They are stacking up two weeks in the future…I’m not flying on PB/PR days…yet.

I appreciate the talk through…i want to insure all my PBs/PRS are straight before I get to them in a week.

So the question is is a PB "Day" really a calendar day or any full 24 hour period? So if your first on call day is reduced because of a PR, and you do another GS well before that PR day, does this new PB "day" simply add 24 hours from when your initial PR ended, or does it start the next full calendar day with a random PR/partial reserve day in the middle?

lets say you have x days for the next week. You’ve already flown a GS that ends in a PR next week at 0800. You p/u another GS today…again over nothing bit your original x-days. How does that 2nd GS’s PD/PR calc stack next week on the end of the 0800 PR?

i’d post a pic of my micrew…but I’m too stupid.

What I’d understand from the MEC paper…9 hours after the 2nd GS releases…everything slides right by the 2nd GS calculated PB days. If this is true, my times are wildly inaccurate on my current schedule.

iCrew calendar is unable to display calendar events beginning at times other than midnight, so the PB/PR designators are used. Each PB represents a complete calendar day on which the pilot has an X-Day, and a PR represents the latter portion of the final X-day, encompassing only a portion of that calendar day.

Better way of explaining it....its not that the PB/PR days get punted to the next on call day(s), rather, the entire block of X days gets slide to the right equal to 9 hours + 24 hours for each X day/PB/PR day that was interrupted.

Tennis: PB day for flying a GS on a PR day depends on when the PR ends and when the GS sign in begins...reference examples 4 and 5 in the sched alert link I posted earlier.

That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about your first on call day is a PR day, and many X days BEFORE the PR day you do another GS. How does that new PB day get added when your next on call day is a PR day? I would assume that as you said everything slides back the amount of days of your new GS.

So if my thunder is rolling correctly, per my example, on my schedule…that PR time next week should be shifting 9 hours (plus the full PBs)?

part of my confusion is that my PR time hasn’t changed…and I’m 99% sure that’s a mistake on schedulings end.

The "old" PR days goes away....the entire block of PB / X days all slide the right, and the "new" PR day is calculated based on the 9 hours free of duty from the end of the 2nd GS.

That is what example 3 in the sched alert link shows....GS#2 starts before the PR day from GS#1, everything slides right, and new PR end time is calculated based on the 9 hours after release of GS#2
