according to the PWA definitions section...an x day is defined as 24 hours duty free period on a reserve line...so I believe there is some confusion about X days (golden days) and asterisk * off days. For the purpose of Pb days, an * and an x day should be the same.

fighting this battle with scheduling right now.

They are trying to say that a golden day interrupted doesn’t give you a pb day?

Fixed it for you. Ask for a supervisor.

I did, the sup was in a meeting but they told the scheduler they looked at real quick and it was correct...which it’s not, hence the next step which is the Union

no, in my case I flew a 3 day GS, on day 2 I had an asterisk day off, and day 3 was an x day. The trip blocked in on day 3 at 0022. They are only giving one payback day and a PR day til 0952. My argument is that I am due 2 PB days and then a PR til 0952...but they aren’t budging on it...tried the crew assist app, and of course scheduling and a supervisor. Now moved on to the
Alpa scheduling guy....waiting on a response.

Unless you really meant 0022 on day 4, scheduling is correct. You get 9 hours off and then 48 hours from 0952 on day 3. It will show as the rotation on day 3, then PB, then PR ending at 0952.

You missed the part in my post where they only gave me one PB day then a PR day. That’s 24 hours plus the 9 for the PR.

it should be PB day, PB day, then PR until 0952.

No I didn’t. You get 48 hours from 0952 on day 3. It shows as PB and PR. Just over 14 hours of you first payback day are on day 3, which is why you only get one full PB on your schedule. ALPA will tell you the same thing.

Remember, a PB “day” is really any consecutive 24 hour period, not a calendar day.

Assuming day 1 was a RES day, it sounds like scheduling is correct.

You guys might be right...I am still holding out hope that I am right...we will see what Alpa says. Thanks for the input.
