We are taking 5 narrow bodies a month at the moment. That will jump to 6 to 7 next year. I doubt you will see any acceleration of those deliveries.

haha! you are right on with that. they certainly could have paid for a LOT more new airframes with that money, but idk how much faster it could have got them on property?

Except maybe if they used that 5B to acquire someone who already had a bunch of airframes we need/wanted?:D

This bid was too big of a bite and they knew it all along. It was simply a fishing expedition. Unfortunately it bears zero relevance to the next one in contrary to their assumptions.

As I said before....Crew Resources will turn on the answering machine at 3:59 pm on Friday, hit "Post AE" on their Commodore 64 and then quickly walk out the door to start their Memorial Day weekend. 😁
