Green slips and more ATL M88 A on the next AE are how the company will address it. There were many who sat on the sidelines for this AE. Several of them may jump in on the clean up AE, now that they know where they will stand in the M88 food chain.

I'm thinking the sunset on the m88 is going to be asap rather than as stated.

And the expected near future NB order may be driven more by who can deliver airframes the soonest....more than any other reason.

I agree. They can't award several hundred positions on this AE because they don't have the sims and instructors.

This RFP is full on panic. The MD88 and 90 will be gone as fast as humanly possible.

5. “Sufficient qualifications” means the requirements imposed by law and this PWA to enter training or serve as a pilot for Delta Air Lines, Inc.

The PWA has no hour requirement, does it?

The PIC 121 requirement is all that I see that would apply.

This seems to imply a Captain award could be prior to 400 hours.

F. Probation
1. A pilot will be on probation until the earlier of:
a. 400 hours of block time (inclusive of O.E.),
b. completion of 12 months of aggregate service, or
c. conversion to a Captain position.

so according to low earth orbit sources they might reduce the 350 award to 100ish

yuuupp....we could see the most junior m88A pulling down $400K this coming year the way things are shaping up.

So much for the dust settling.:D

reason given is 'training waterfall' you know, something they should have known about before posting 160 positions.....but i guess we shall see tomorrow.

Yeah I thought that was to be expected... I wonder if other positions posted will have large reductions as well for that reason...
