Amazing times we are in. As much as we make fun of Delta IT, I think they nailed this one.

MikeF16...I'm with you, I was somewhat shocked to be called by a buddy saying congrats to me...my response "for what." So I was somewhat taken back to find I'll be moving from the 73 right seat to the Bus left seat. It will certainly be a change, I'm very grateful for the opportunity. Congrats to everyone.

Being completely serious... if anyone has any questions or needs anything on big or little bus checkout, I'll be happy to help out. I've got the french-english dictionary handy and am more than willing to help make your life easier. No charge, as I subscribe to the John Bell method. :)

Not quite 10 years, its closer to 7. There were several late 2010 hires on the MSP 7ER who were awarded MSP M88 Captain. I'm sure the MSP seniority will break soon. LAX used to be relatively senior just a couple years ago.

The only reason LAX got junior is because they grew it at both the top end by adding all that 777 time, and at the bottom with the 717. Somehow I don't see that happening in MSP so it'll always be a senior base, more so since it used to be a huge NW base with international wide body flying based there.

The guys who own houses there who were A330 Captains now have to commute to somewhere else or bid down to the 767 if they want to stay in MSP, that's what makes it so senior. It won't get a lot more junior until all those guys have retired.
