So true! But I pay enough taxes already.

Congress, the President and the American people are on the side of the ME3 as well. Congress has been bought off, the President has hotels over there and Boeing has Trump in their pocket etc...and the American voter HATES our airlines.

This battle was lost almost a decade before the former Delta CEO started organizing a campaign to fight the ME3 a few years ago.

If oil stays weak, as it has been, they will be forced to take profits and losses into account. With oil north of $100/barrel their economies could rely heavily on oil import dollars. OPEC tried to BK the frackers and it did not work. It looks like cheap oil might be around for quite a while. This is probably our best hope regarding the ME3.

Curious, they didn't mention who will operate these.

Exactly. Of course we can't match per capita subsidies like that, so we need to force the mass pull down of their illegal routes.

They can have as many as we do, which for now is zero. We'll round up and give them one per day.

They did mention. Most of the flights will be operated by Aeromexico. The JFK to Cancun and LAX to Cabo will be Delta.

Looks like they updated the article with the list and map. I suspected the majority of the expansion wouldn't be delta metal.
