Seems like we would have seen word of an extension.

LOL yeah seems like it, doesn't it.

Yet we all know it was extended and always will be, at least until the company massively abuses it...which they won't until it becomes permanent and we're left saying "gee we didn't think they'd do that, even though we gave them the ability to do that"

Default Paint scheme for the new CS100s

Sorry, but I am tired of the current Delta paint scheme.... Very boring.

How about you guys tell the Marketing wizards to revert back to this previous paint scheme for the incoming CS100s:

McDonnell Douglas DC-9-32 - Delta Air Lines | Aviation Photo #4390603 | Airliners.net

I always loved that paint scheme with the dark nose. Maybe it's time for a new (old) look with the new fleet...

We should have one airplane with each Retro Paint job all the way to the beginning. Also a Western, NWA & Pan Am. That would be sick!!

Baja.

Retro planes would be cool (although we can skip the Pepsi can/froeny faced era I'm sure we all agree on that).

The older paint job is great in theory, but there is no way we should go back to ugly paint that looked faded and chalky even when it was new. The old lines with bold, modern paint would look great (and sorry Snoopy fans, the black nose was stupid).

Be careful what you wish for...they will bring back the whole DC9-32 from the desert!

What is even sicker is if they didn't spend money on that and in turn kept it as profit and paid it out in profit sharing!!!!

Word is coming out now that VB implementation has been delayed until Jan 2018. That seems to make this thread relevant again. Timing seems to coincide with c-series deliveries.

Total crap.

And we got nothing for this deferral.

How does this get extended without LEC involvement?
