C Series Info

Boeing certainly screwed themselves with the whole CSeries issue. They are however killing it with the 787 and putting the A330 NEO program at risk. Maybe we should try and renegotiate our A330 deal. Airbus must be getting desperate. They have unsold positions in 2019 and have already reduced planned production. White tailed A330 NEO’s will be sitting on the ramp this time next year. Boeing is ramping 787 production up to 14 a month.

The 330-900s (25) will be delivered from 2019-2022. That’s an average of just over 6 aircraft a year...not too aggressive. If the price was right I could see Delta jumping on a few more. To me the question is will Airbus really lower the price on the -800 now that Hawaiian opted out. That would really be a boutique airplane!
