Well...as said before, you could buy Global Entry for you if/when you need it for your benefit (commute home/TSA Pre, etc...) and simply bypass Global Entry and go to the slow lane when you want to stick it to the man...which I believe was the point of your post. Win-Win for you.

I agree its BS company doesnt pay for it (or uniforms, or hotels for newbies, etc). But I got GE for me and for my convenience, not the companies. So far its been well worth it. Ymmv.

I agree with everyone who gets it for themeselves. I don't travel internationally and I try to avoid customs at the end of a trip. For me to get GE it would only be for the turn during the middle of a trip. So I'll be the guy hanging out in the slow lane. Say hello as you go on by!
