JB absolutely does NOT get higher priority and there is no such thing as the computer choosing them over you. If you got there first for the listing and were told that, then either something else was the issue (JB pilot listed first but maybe with another agent and they were already in the system, etc) or you were lied to because someone didn't want to deal with you. Report it to your JS coordinator as well as DL's. Either way no agent should be saying nonsense like that because that's false.

Could be the JB guy checked in before you which would give home the higher priority. I've done it before where I stoped at delta counter or help desk and got listed. This got me on ahead of the other OAL guy that went straight to the gate as I was listed sooner.
