Yet another classic example of why it is useless to attempt humor on a web board. 🤣

Who but a crazyman would begin an air cargo operation with a fleet of falcon jets?
Fred isnt crazy. And he isnt in the cargo business. And the infrastructure development is to support the primary business model...and the product his customers are buying.
If you are curious about our economic climb imho its in large part a recognition our business model is not, and should not be 'selling seats' on an airliner.

I agree with f.o.l. The optimum structure puts the pax floor as close to the mid-point of the tube for both strength and seating capacity. Lowering the floor in the tube does nothing but shrink the 'floor-space' and put stress on the tube. Doesn't make sense. (...but there I go, thinking logically again. NOT ALLOWED!)

boeing is planning a clean sheet aircraft that likely is a twin aisle. Airbus is proposing a bastardized version of the a321 as a potential response. As pointed out in the article the ability to carry cargo is critical for these markets and the airbus offering would not have much if any capability for cargo.
