It would be nice to get some intelligent feedback from those at the developer side as to what is possible or not under the current web app paradigm. I would think if you volunteered to do work for the PBS Committee you would get an opportunity to interact with the right people at some point. |
I can certainly manage while rolling my eyes, but there is a lot to be desired for high altitude views of the rotations like one could quickly do in the PHP server side application, and no "scroll for more"...........
imo it's a great 1.0 version built obviously without enough enduser feedback in it's beta development but whatever |

Am working on my Feb bid now and it's as infuriating as ever. The worst is actually viewing trips and then adding them to your bid. Its a 4 or 5 step process for me. Viewing the trips takes several steps, and then you have to come out of the "Show pairing report" screen if you want to "add" a trip to your bid. Then when you add a trip, you have to "okay it" EVERYTIME by clicking a box, then you have to deselect that trip and select another one. Then "okay" that one. After that, then I go to the "Show pairing report" but I must first deselect the previous trip and reselect the rest of them and then select "Show pairing report" pages. Then the whole "add bid" process starts again. Very painful and time consuming and a massive step back from the previous "desktop version" Why do we accept this POS??? And yes, I made phone calls and sent emails.

I use the grey version. It still works and I find it slightly less frustrating than the WebApp piece of trash.
