$900K 350 Captains

My understanding was one 350A pulled off a $108,000 month. The method they got there by made sense, so it’s possible if you ask me.

Good for them! To me this highlights the importance of fighting to maintain our fair share (50%) of flying on international JVs. Those are our best jobs and even if I never get to one I sure want the guy in front of me to get there.

It’s just another windfall for the guys who spent 20+ years as 747 captains, kept their pensions, and got an extra 5 years working at the top thanks to age 65. I don’t care what these guys make. Most of us will never get to fly as 350 captains or as captain of any widebody.

If you had a 10 day trip starting on the 5th of the month and you got a 3 day GSWC starting on the 3rd, you would be working 3 days and get paid for 13 days and would now have an extra 9 days off where you could GS again.

If you didn't care, you probably wouldn't have posted about it.
Begrudging someone a good deal? Shady.
Begrudging someone a good deal that doesn't adversely impact you? Whiny.
