Americas Best Value: $42-47. Not recommended but if you're looking to go cheap, this is your place. Outdoor corridors. Feels a little "Bates Motel-ish". Rooms are dank and in need of some serious deep cleaning. Gym and breakfast are not worth mentioning. Used to have a punch card for crews where every 10th stay is free.
Clarion: $64-69. Probably the crew favorite. Good balance of flexibility, quality, location and price. Gym sucks but usable. Pretty universally held that they have the best free breakfast around the airport if that's important to you (it seems to be for most pilots). Almost always have a crew rate available.
Sheraton: $87. Frequent shuttle. Limited crew rate availability. Older Sheraton property in need of some TLC but best gym out of the hotels around. Typical Sheraton (no freebies except internet).
Four Points: $89. Haven't stayed here since the remodel but the gym used to be decent and they still have a great beer bar in the lobby. Lots of local brews and brews of note from around the country. Easy walk over if you're staying at the Clarion.
Westin: $150. For the big spender who can't stand waiting for a shuttle. Hotel is attached to the terminal with KCM basically in the lobby. Great gym. No shuttle or food options except for lobby restaurants and what you can access in the airport. Very limited crew rate availability.
Theres a few other spots around that people use and several new hotels popping up. I've also had good luck finding deals on hotels.com if you're into that, sometimes even beating the crew rates! (My best was the Sheraton for $67 out the door!)

Plenty to be had along Merriman Rd of varying quality and some have limited availability of rooms at the crew rate. Prices I've listed are all "out the door" and to the best of my recollection.

I bounce back and forth between the Sheraton and Springhill Suites.
The Sheraton posted price may be a little high (usually $78 out the door) and the Springhill is around $84.
Both have reliable van service but the Sheraton is every 20 minutes while Springhill is at the top and bottom of the hour.
I actually prefer the Sheraton since it is closer to Leonardo's.

Also take a look at the Comfort Inn down the street and around the corner...I believe the rate is still under 70 but the property was renovated recently and it’s very nice. Clean with good shuttle service. Also offers the buy 9 get 1 free deal for crew. Leaps and bounds nicer than the Clarion IMO.

I choose the Americas Beast simply because of the food options and late 4pm checkout. Yes, it is rather dank, dark, and has horrible wifi but I've used it since my cheap @$$ regional days so I don't know any better.
