Default DGS Sold

Will these guys continue to receive travel benefits? How will this affect our non-SLI instructors? Interesting move for sure.

No changes to travel benefits thru 31Dec2021.

Word is that NSLI’s will have no changes to compensation and work rules.

Any DGS employee that is hired starting in 2019 will be a S4 no ZED and have to pay yield fare as imputed income, all other DGS employees will get to keep S3C until end of 2021 then in 2022 they will drop to a S4 status. A lot of people use DGS just for flight benefits so we will see if enough decide to quit and hurt the operation.

It does not appear DGS was sold. Looks more like a merger with Delta retaining its equity.

There were some organizational changes announced with regard to DGS.

• There will be no change in NSLI work rules, benefits, or pay

• A new company called DPS (Delta Professional Services) will employ all NSLIs

• DPS will only contain Flight Ops DGS personnel

• NSLIs will have to go through the employment verification process for the new DPS company

• Once again, for DPS employees there are no changes to flight benefits now or in the future

So basically the "G" is a "P" and nothing else has changed. Wow Delta really is like the U.S. Navy!

For NSLIs, yes. For all the other DGS employees there will be changes.

What about DPS supervisors? I always hate losing seniority to a DGS S2. Will they get S3 status I wonder?

Supervisors lose their benefits as well. Will be a S4.
