Default Expected hiring plans

Does anyone know what the expected hiring plans for delta pilots are? I know they went on a freeze for a few months but I was wondering if anyone had any idea when they plan to start reviewing apps again and how many pilots they plan to hire monthly now.

Do you know if they’ve started reviewing resumes again (since the freeze due to overstaffing during the summer months)?

Hmm...thanks for the info! Would you happen to know if they’ve reached out to those 800 potential hires yet (to let them know they’ve been selected to interview, but the interview will be scheduled later type of thing)? My resume has been in for close to a year and I haven’t heard anything....so I’m searching for answers to if I need more time or need to change my resume etc.

Quote from Crew Resources Monthly Update for the February 2019 Bid Period: “The 2019 Flight Ops plan included a need for 600-750 new hire pilots by year-end.”

Yep, I heard that straight from JG's mouth on his internal broadcast on Jan 11th. I believe that our hiring forecasts are to be reviewed quarterly instead of on an annual basis.

Our network crew planner stated a week ago our 2019 hiring plan had finalized at 750. Subject to monthly reviews going forward.

Mine was in for 4 years before I heard anything and that was a fix it email. Unless you are military, most civilians take years to hear anything (if anything) from what I have gathered.

I got an email to call and schedule an interview. When I called, I was told there aren't any available interview dates and was placed on a waiting list.
