Default Airline Apps: Lining Up Employment Dates

I'm attempting to quality check my Delta App and am seeking clarity on whether the Address History and Employment History sections should be formatted/structured the same way. Can anyone offer clarify?

1. Address History (correct format as follows):
- Residence-1 ends on 15 Jan, (1 Jan 2018 - 15 Jan 2019)
- Residence-2 begins on 16 Jan, (16 Jan 2019 - Pres)
- I think this format is correct (no overlap).

2. Employment History (format uncertain):
- Option-1 (no overlap):
-- Job-1 (1 Jan 2018 - 15 Jan 2019)
-- Job-2 (16 Jan 2019 - Pres)
- Option-2 (date overlap):
-- Job-1 (1 Jan 2018 - 15 Jan 2019)
-- Job-2 (15 Jan 2019 - Pres)

Should last/first dates occur on same day (overlap, to insinuate no break in employment) or should they match the address format above (no overlapping dates)?

Thanks!

I wouldn't overlap, because then it looks like you're working for two different companies at the same time. (ie, you worked at both jobs Jan 15th, even though one was ending and the other starting)

There is no need to overlap.

Good luck!

Completely valid! Apologies, if I offended (not my intention). I'm just very grateful for all the feedback!
