35 minute connection to make DTW-CDG for a dependent on an S3. Obviously, check-in would be well prior to the first segment. Is this even practical, albeit not ideal? I am operating the DTW-CDG segment.
Also, am I correct in the understanding that dependents may not accompanying us to the hotel on the crew shuttle to/from CDG?
Thanks in advance!

My guess is that even though the dependent would be checked in for the flight, when she did not come up to the podium when her name was called around the 1 hour mark, they would eventually pass her over and not assign her a seat.
And no, only crew on the bus from CDG, the dependent has to make their way to the hotel on their own.

It’s enforced. The bus takes you to customs where each crewmember must display a ID. You will be in the hotel sleeping before the crew gets there if you take the train.

Plenty of last minute pax running up right before they close the door including non-revs; the 30 minutes announcement is pure BS and just of the many mindless background announcements we've all learned to tune out.

I can independently vouch for this. I've tried both (van vs train). The train is much quicker.
Train is fast, clean, and quiet, easy to use. There's extra schlepping (no need to go into details) for the crew bus that is unlike any other destination I've flown to with Delta.

On some flights bottom priority nonrevs need 35 minutes just to get off the airplane, assuming it’s on time you still wouldn’t make it. There might be a fighting chance if the flight is early. Pray for good weather and nothing out of the ordinary.
