Anytime non-cons get a raise, people complain about it affecting their PS. It happens every time.

There’s a ton out there that have publicly said this. The largest concentration is in the mothership.

I'm for anything that helps improve your compensation and work rules! We're all labor and we're all in this together.

What flight attendants have you been flying with that makes you feel this is at all reciprocal? Other groups I agree with but (my opinion) 80% (statistically modeled by a Boeing/RAND study) FA’s would like to see the Pilot world catch on fire just to watch it burn.

I think the problem is that management not only pits FAs against each other but also against pilots. They’re unfortunately successful in this in part because there’s no professional standards committee and ALPA doesn’t have anyone to work with on issues of mutual benefit and respect.

Based on what I’ve gathered speaking with FAs and pilots at other airlines there seems to be more respect between workgroups.

Also, if you notice how much tension there is between crews and gate agents. I think in part this is also due to the lack of representation and no avenue to address issues between workgroups. I’ve committed on Southwest, American etc...and I don’t see the same disdain our gate agents have towards our crews. Could be wrong but...just an observation.
