I think commuting is safe when properly managed just like living in base. The problems come from a minority of commuters who choose to do things like catch a all-nighter from HNL to LAX to connect LAX to ATL and start a 6 day international trip. We are one accident away from the end of commuting as we know it because a minority of commuters can’t do it responsibly.

I think the sailent point in your example has been overlooked.

The responsible solution to such a commute is clear and rests entirely on managements shoulders.

Delta must acquire Hawaiian. Problem solved for the HNL-ATL commuters.

Dickson is qualified for the job. This is just eyewash. And I'd be confident he won't be resigning under less than honorable circumstances.

100% agree. As a fellow Democrat I want to vote third party more and more each day.

May not be our advocate but I do think we have a competent administrator who at least has an airline/pilot history.
