The other tidbit from the deposition that had me chuckling was her emailing the CEO asking to authorize a suite at her layover over Xmas to host a party.

14,000 pilots flying the line and she’s so special, she e-mailed the freaking CEO to ask for a Christmas party in a suite. YGTBSM.

Why would anyone want to make themselves known to our CEO in this light? Personally, I don't want to be known by EB unless it's for good reason, like Chairman's Club or something of that sort. Why would you dangle yourself like this? Is that the cross you want to die on?

New hired female pilot from AW
That did not disclose
Not quite. She's been here 22 years. I think it was America West where she may have run into issues previously. I don't know any details about that, but there has been at least one person post online that knew her from back then and it wasn't flattering. According to her blog info, she worked for Guyana after that one before eventually going to Tower Air and then NWA.

Wait, she mentioned doing this in her book? Why would she do that?

Good question.

I think it was the second book. It just mentioned about the main character pilot requesting a suite for Christmas in (I think) Honolulu so pilots could celebrate away from home but mgt had turned it down.

Wait, it was a Fictional Book she wrote and based plots off her real life?

Correct it was a Suite at the layover hotel in HNL she was trying to get authorized by the CEO
