So whats your plan to resolve the demographic under representations in highly compensated professions like the nba and nfl?

They make a hell of a lot more than $300k/year.
You got the government to co-sign your private loan. I guess you don't know how people finance flight training outside of the military. Ignorant again.

This thread: Come for the funnies about merging with Spirit, stay for the non-sexism sexism, military and millenial bashing, theories on sociological behavior and glorification of the airline profession.

I was flying a good while before i hired on with Uncle Sam.

Typical ignorant assumption by an arrogant and angry know it all.

Now. What are you going to do about the demographic disparities in professional sports? Thats where the real money is.

Being professional sports is based solely on physical talent? Piloting has zero to do with talent. You either can or you can't. If you can and you don't habitually make bad decisions, you'll be just fine.

Uh, I think the lashing out is from you and your "I was given a trophy for coming in last place in little league" crowd. Or was I dreaming on election night when all the "Not My President" and "F Trump!" protests were going on? (And yes the "Obama wasn't born in the US" crowd is just as bad).

No out of touch person here. I just want folks to live responsible, achievement oriented lives, accept that sometimes life ain't fair (and get over that) and who deal with setbacks by working ever harder and make themselves even better than they imagined. Whining and blaming every entity and everybody other than yourself for any missteps along the way is not tolerated.

I'm out. I don't want your avocado toast to burn.

Some might say that being a quality aviator who habitually makes good decisions is a talent.

But back to the OP, did said jumpseatstress provide reasoning why Delta would suddenly want yellow airbuses?

Wait. What does aptitude have to do with equity of outcome?

Are we not decring the opression and restricted opportunity that produces unequal outcome in professional occupations?

I guarantee no college basketball scouts are gona be found frequenting hasidic high schools. Its racist i tell you....and institutional oppresion.

Your true nature is showing. Its a wonder you can stomach showing up to work in a job you hold in such low regard.

Wow. What a really disgusting thing to say. Nope. I sure wasn't and neither was anyone I knew. But that doesn't work for you does it? There HAS to be a bogyman under every bed and a fascist on every street corner. The fact that those things are nowhere near as prevalent as you want them to be frustrates you and you say idiotic, reprehensible things like what you said above. Good luck with your anger, I hope you find an outlet for it.

You're right. It is disgusting that it has happened and in the not too distant past.

I've been places that the majority didn't look, think or act like me too and while it may have been daunting on some level, I was there for a reason and it didn't preclude me from accomplishing what I needed to accomplish.

So what do you propose as a solution above and beyond oh...the millions spent on attracting women and minorities to aviation, OBAP, The 99's, Women in Aviation and all of the VERY worthwhile and meaningful outreach programs that those organizations sponsor?
Dude - you got tomatoes? Total score! I got broccoli.
